About Us

The name 3 Braided Cord comes from Ecclesiastes 4:12, which tells us “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a three strand cord is not quickly broken.” This symbolizes the joining of a man, woman, and God in marriage and the strength of this union.

In Genesis, whenever God created it was good. But the first time God said anything was “not good” was when He spoke of man being alone. That is where the covenant relationship started. It is a representation of the Trinity that introduces people to who God is, with a man, his wife and God at the center. This is about kingdom connections, and because two are better than one, there is power in these connections.
